# AI FDE Model Auto Select

Is there functionality for AI FDE to automatically select a model based on the task? I would like to use a specific model for planning, another for implementing / writing code, and then another for debugging. Currently, I have to have AI FDE prompt me to switch models when it identifies that it is working on a specific task (this is done through a skill). I have also tried using subagents, but that only has Low / Medium / High depth selection, and cannot have a specific model be set.

Are there any solutions to this, or plans for this to be implemented in the future?
