I have multiple organizations, each with their own Ontology. (e.g. `A_namespace`, `A_Ontology`, `B_namespace`, `B_Ontology` …)
I also have a shared namespace and its Ontology, where multiple orgs can collaborate. (e.g. `shared_namespace`, `shared_ontology`)

Can I have a backing dataset stored in a project belonging to `A_namespace` that backs an Object belonging to `shared_ontology` ?
The opposite ?
More generally: Do backing dataset namespace location influences in which Ontology I can create my Objects ?

Hi @VincentF ,

Yes, as of July 2024 you can have a setup with backing dataset stored in a project belonging to `A_namespace` that backs an Object belonging to `shared_ontology`.

In general, no backing dataset namespace location does not restrict your choice of Ontology within which you would create your Object Type.
