How set min and max selectable dates in a date input widget

How can I set a date input widget to only accept dates in between two date variables I have set in my workshop environment?

I found this page on the topic in the docs but it does not seem to be up to date as the property names do not match the the widget settings in my workshop.

Setting a minDate or maxDate attribute in the raw widget config does not appear to have any effect.

Hi, this is currently unsupported in Workshop. The docs you have linked are for the Slate widget and not the Workshop widget.
