We’re operating with manually imported data, updated monthly.
We must select “add” each time, because accidentally pressing the “replace” button will erase all previously uploaded files.
Is it possible to hide the “replace” button?
Alternatively, could we implement a solution where “replace” is only enabled under specific workflow conditions?
Even though it is more effort, You could build a custom workflow e.g. Slate app that uses the Foundry API gateway to update the relevant dataset.
Upload File • API Reference • Palantir
This way, you have full control over the workflow so that people do not accidentally overwrite things.
This combined with the resource selector in Slate should work: Slate • Widgets • Platform • Palantir
… or am I missing something here?
