Hi, what is the best approach for displaying Foundry Dataset and Pipeline Health checks and monitoring-view alerts in a React web application? Do I need to set up web hooks and only monitor failures or can we use the internal endpoints that pages like the build page hits if we want to continuously monitor?

Hi, are you mainly looking to monitor the status of builds? Or other metrics as well?

**I advise you to use the official Foundry APIs instead of internal endpoints. Internal endpoints change without warning and will break your React application. I suggest that you request data from the official health endpoints at regular intervals to show continuous status. You can also configure webhooks if you only want alerts when a job fails.**

Just the status of the builds but want to see it in a consolidated place with other webapp related health checks. But after going through the documentation web-hooks seem like the best solution over using the API since I do not need continuous view into the build status.

Thank you, I decided to go with webhooks in the end since the goal is to only have items be surfaced if something fails.
