Repeated connection issues with Palantir MCP on Claude

We have several MCP servers running in Palantir, all of which have been very stable for months. We typically connect to them via Claude Cowork.

Over the last 2-3 weeks we’ve started to see instability with all these connections. When attempting to use Palantir MCP, Claude often says the connector, or some of its tools, are not available. We repeatedly (often several times a day) need to reconnect.

My guess is that there is some intermittent connectivity issue that has been introduced, and Claude sees a network failure as the tool going down.

Has anyone else observed this problem? I can’t think of anything that we’ve changed in our setup.

I had this happen in the past, but not sure if they’ve fixed it.

It would usually be because a few of their tool calls didn’t follow I think an openAI standard and Claude would not connect and drop all of the tools. We brought it up to our foundry support and it just kind of ended as a “well it works on my machine” kind of feeling.

I ended up making my own wrapper around the mcp , no issues since. I just try and update and patch
