I’ve been using Foundry datasets in Power BI for reporting via the current ODBC connection. Microsoft has recently announced that ODBC will be replaced by a new connector standard called ADBC (Arrow Database Connectivity), with the transition expected from September 2026.
ADBC uses Apache Arrow’s columnar format natively, which means significantly faster data transfer and lower overhead compared to ODBC — so this is a meaningful performance upgrade for BI reporting workloads.
I wanted to check whether Palantir has any plans to release an ADBC-compatible connector for Power BI to align with this transition. Any roadmap visibility or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
