How does the agent “phone home” to send the data?
Is it a URL or IP address?
If it’s using a URL, is the customer supposed to have that in their DNS or falls back to the public DNS like 8.8.8.8?
The Agent uses the Foundry Domain name (DNS) when connecting back to Foundry. A customer should configure their networking and firewall rules to allow egress from their network to the Foundry domain over port 443 (HTTPS). If the customer does not support configuring egress rules using domain names, they will instead need to allow-list each of the public IP addresses corresponding to the domain name. They can use a tool like nslookup to find those public IP addresses.
