Allow configuring timestamp display timezone in dataset preview / code assist preview

In the dataset preview (https://xxx.palantirfoundry.com/workspace/data-integration/dataset/preview/), Timestamp type data is displayed in UTC (e.g. 2024-07-26T02:00:00.000Z) However, is it possible to display this in JST (e.g. 2024-07-26T11:00:00+09:00)?

Hi, you can achieve this in contour by opening the dataset of interest in contour, and view your timestamp column in a table board.

I am not aware of an option to automatically display UTC timestamps in JST within the dataset preview. Is there a specific reason you need to view the data in the dataset preview instead of Contour? Thanks!

Thank you for your comment.
I knew that Contour can display in JST.
Data engineers often use data preview to check data (including data preview in code repositories), it would be convenient to display data in JST.

Since we have confirmed that this is unfortunately not currently possible, I have changed the category of this post from “Ask the Community” to “Propose an Improvement” and modified the title accordingly.
