An error in Speedrun: Mining Your First Business Process

Hi,
I installed “Speedrun: Mining Your First Business Process” in Marketplace.
And when I tried to installed a Maninery process and click “Ready to mine”, I encounted an error: [Error] Failed to load aggregation result.
Please make an advice.

Hey @kail70 ,

The issue here is most likely that your freshly installed log object type was still indexing.

After indexing finishes, mining should begin to work.

Please try again and let us know if it continues not to work.

In the meantime, we’ll work on improving this to show the indexing progress rather than failing. Thanks for flagging this issue.

After about 10 minutes had passed, I clicked the “Ready to mine” button, but the same error occurred.

The issue happens if you load machinery while your object types are indexing. We just shipped a fix that will land soon.

In the meantime, here’s how to get it working:

  1. Install and save your process
  2. Wait for indexing to finish — you can track progress in the Ontology Metadata app
  3. Refresh the page
  4. Click “Ready to mine”

Yes, this workaround works:

Instead of clicking “Ready to mine” immediately, save the process first.

Then wait and refresh, or go to Files, return to the project folder, and open that saved process again. After that, it works.

The only remaining thing to figure out is which buttons to click to open the correct view.
