I am interested in testing whether we can upload an animated GIF—specifically, one with rotating arrows—to the media widget as a standard indicator for data refreshes in progress. The idea is to display this animation when a user clicks a button to start an action, indicating that work is ongoing, and then replace it with a different image once the task is complete. Is this something we can implement?
I managed to achieve it. The trick was to drag and drop the gif file into a folder on foundry
then use blob id of the file as a media string in the “Media preview” widget in Workshop Module.
