Are public Slate applications indexed by search engines?

Hi,

I am planning to create a public Slate application using the Slate • Upload data for public applications • Palantir feature.

Since this page is intended for business use only, I would like to make sure that search engines do not index the page. In the past, I have applied a noindex tag to web pages to prevent major search engines crawling them, tag but I couldn’t find this in the source of the public slate.

Please can you confirm whether search engines are able to index the page?

Thanks

Hi Dan,

Public Slate applications should not be indexed by search engines as they include the x-robots-Tag: noindex which instructs crawlers not to index the page.

You can search for 'x-robots-Tag: noindex online to find more information about this. This is similar to including the noindex meta tag.
