Here’s what we’ve got as planned work for the next few months - standard caveats apply around shifting priorities and difficult-to-estimate timelines, etc…
- Adding support to Functions
- Adding support to Object Explorer
- Adding support to Workshop. For this, we’ll also be working on aggregations across an interface, as well as searcharounds using interface link constraints. Both of those improvements will also expand the available functionality within OSDK.
If you’d like to play with them now, I highly recommend spinning up a Dev Console app and using OSDK with a recent Typescript generator. There was also a talk in DevCon 1 that gave some examples: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIrdAMwh51o. Another public example to point to is our Defense OSDK, which is built entirely with Interfaces: https://www.palantir.com/defense/sdk/
The beta flag at this point for Interfaces is more about feature completeness than stability. Everything which is already released is quite stable and is used in production at a number of customer deployments, so don’t let that beta flag hold you back!
Hi @zoe is there a recording of the roadmap session you can share?
Hi Gena,
Two things for your questions:
First, I think outputting evals results to a dataset already exists!
See Evals results dataset for details.
Second, yes we have a couple things in the works for alerting on execution latency:
- an executions datasets where you can ontologize objects and create Automations on performance thresholds, and
- a tracing functionality that’s built on an internal framework that can be extended to handle monitors too. It’s the same backend as pipelines have
Stay tuned for updates on those latter two.
Hope those are helpful!
Ah yes, found it – i’m including it in my next video. For alerting, health checks could go a long way, honestly!
Thanks
