Can I send emails to users outside of Foundry?

I am able to send emails to Foundry users via Actions using Notifications.

But what do I do if the target email address does not belong to any Foundry user? For example a supplier or other external counterparty? I can’t select a custom email address in notification settings…

Is this possible somehow? Are there additional InfoSec considerations?

Would I have to modify the email allow list settings in Control Panel?

Foundry does not support sending emails to addresses not associated with registered Foundry users.

The way to do this would be to use an external email sending service (like Mailchimp - https://mailchimp.com/developer/) and use Webhooks for transactional email and External Transforms for bulk email sending.
