I have a large number of Foundry NotePad files that I want to search using AIP. I can see how this works with pdfs but the NotePad files are greyed out when I try to pull them in using similar methods. How do I pull these documents in? Thanks!
Hi @kingml, thanks for reaching out. Do you mind providing some more context on what you mean by “search using AIP”? Are you referring to a specific application or feature?
I want to use Palantir notepad to hold standard operating procedures (SOPs), approximately 500 pages, and I want to use AIP studio to make a chatbot to search the files. I have successfully built an AIP agent with a .pdf of the existing SOPs.
Now I want to move the SOPs from a .pdf to Notepad, and have the AIP agent search the Palantir Notepad documents so I can update the SOPs and then search them. But when I go to connect to the notepad files, the files either don’t show up or are greyed out. I’ve also been unsuccessful in making an automation with a python script that converts the Notepad documents to .pdfs; it says the file doesn’t exist.
Hi @kingml - will get back to you regarding using AIP studio to query the Notepad documents.
Can you say more about the automation with a python script to convert Notepad documents into PDFs? Sharing specific error messages or the steps you took that resulted in this error would be super helpful
