Hi, I’ve successfully ingested my own shape polygon map (US counties) into Foundry, and then into the Ontology. I can make the maps show up in simple map application (see below; which tells me the geometries are ok and recognized), but now I want to make a choroplet visualization in Workshop, and I can’t make it work or even show up. I have a many-to-many Link with places in those counties in the Ontology, and I would like the choroplet map to reflect the sums of places per county. Any suggestions on how to make it work? Thank you.
You can do this directly from the map template that you integrated into workshop.
Within the maps app select the layer of which its color you want to change:
When coloring by a function, property, or time series (measure) that has numeric values, use the gradient editor to map values to output colors. The colors used in the gradients can be edited by selecting points the gradient bar. The numerical range (min/max) for the color gradient is automatically inferred, but this can be toggled off to set the range manually.
When coloring by a function, property, or time series that has string values, the Color mapping dropdown menu contains methods for mapping values to colors:
