I think it would be cool if AI FDE had a /compact feature like Claude Code. It would also be nice if the entire conversation didn’t fall over based on the user losing a second of internet conversation.

AI FDE Does compaction in 2 ways:
- the manage_context skill/tool will hide and unhide context items for you automatically
- you can choose to “summarize above” any part of your session manually
The “summarize above” functionality behaves the closest to /compact. You can find it by hovering between any 2 context items.
