Control time range for ontology series attribute sparklines in timeseries configuration

I really like the sparklines that are available when displaying a timeseries attribute in an ontology object or a workshop table. However, i have always been unable to use it in practice, because there is no way to limit the time range that is queried, and when the data has many rows and a long history, the application slows down, and the x-axis ranges are sometimes different, so they become impossible to compare.

The request would be to enable a configuration of the default relative time range in the time series attribute. This setting could control the default time ranges displayed in ontology and workshop applications. Ideally, in workshop it would also be locally configurable.

Hi @devonyates, thanks for the feedback! Responding on behalf of the time series product team - this is an idea we have explored as well. I imagine it could work similar to the Time series formatting for Units and Interpolation, allowing you to choose “Constant Value” or “Reference” (another property). We’ll take your feedback into consideration when discussing prioritization.
