For my Ontology Object, I would like to make the Title be a composite of multiple columns. I asked AIP Assist (which has a 50% success rate for me, but that’s a separate conversation) and it says its possible but i can’t find the “Title Key Configuration” it refers to
To configure the title of an object, go to ontology manager and hit properties. Within properties, if you click on any of the properties and scroll down on the menu on the right, you will see a section entitled ‘Configuration’ and within that you can toggle on or off whether that property should be the title.
As far as I am aware, there’s no way to directly create a composite key (though maybe there ought to be). The quickest workaround right now would be to create a separate ‘Title Key’ column/property (you can call it anything you want) in pipeline builder by concatenating the columns that you want to form your composite title.
so then AIP Assist is hallucinating (something i’ve seen multiple times). as a tangent, can the team take a look at this?
taking the pipeline approach, this means that in order to handle user edits, i’ll also have to have an a custom onCreate function that generates the title key?
Yes, composite title keys aren’t supported directly and AIP Assist was incorrect. I’ve forwarded this to our internal AIP Assist team to keep improving the tool and reduce risks of hallucinations.
