My eyes fatigue faster with bright backgrounds, it’s easier for me to work in “dark” color themes.
There isn’t a workaround in most of the apps. AIP Assist says in workshop you can change it to dark color themes, but there’s no other settings to do that across the platform.
If there was a setting in the control panel to change color themes it would be perfect, because that was the first place I looked.
This isn’t documented and could be considered somewhat beta, but try the konami code (up up down down left right left right b a enter) in Data Lineage. It’ll go into dark mode. As mentioned, Workshop has dark mode hidden in the settings which is first class.
As for other apps, I don’t think it’s there yet. Make enough noise and it’ll probably make its way to more products.
Note that dark mode is also available for Code Repositories (under settings >> theme).
I believe there was a general move away from Dark themes for accessibility reasons (accessible color palettes effectively have to be maintained twice if you have two themes), but I think this stance may be revisited.
The development of themes could be delegated to the community, especially if the Marketplace is upgraded to allow users to share or sell approved items, including custom themes.
