As a Data Administrator i would like to be able to navigate from the data source to the upstream referenced agents within the linage view, including Agent Proxies.
This would enable
easier support for agent outages and migrations
quick impact analysis of outage windows
quick understanding of any datasource weakness or lack of redundancy
NOTE: This functionality was added for Datasources to Agents some time ago. But it does not include Agent Proxys for API type connectors.
Hi Mike, we’re moving towards using agent proxy policies everywhere (currently in beta). Agent proxy policies are available in lineage view! And they should generally provide a much better user experience than using Agent Proxy directly
In the meantime, we can investigate what it would take to get direct Agent Proxy usage to show up in data lineage.
Could you provide a migration assist to help move classic agent proxy sources to new agent proxy policies?

Happy to share that this integration is rolling out now. You will soon be able to see all upstream agents of a source, including Agent Proxies, in Data Lineage.
