As our company’s usage of Foundry continues to grow, the importance of effectively managing dataset build schedules has become increasingly apparent. With the proliferation of various systems leveraging Workshops across the organization, it’s crucial to have a clear and accessible way to monitor whether the build schedules of key datasets are running smoothly.
While setting up Health checks for individual datasets is one approach, there are times when a bird’s-eye view of the status of critical datasets is more desirable, and this could be best achieved through a table format.
I propose enhancing the existing ‘Build Schedules’ App to go beyond simply adding schedules to monitor. Specifically, it would be highly beneficial if the app could store the status of these schedules. Additionally, expanding the app’s functionality to include not only the current Flow View but also a Table View would allow for a simpler and more straightforward overview, making it easier to track and manage these crucial build schedules.
