Differences between guest members vs members of an org?

Understand that a user can only have one primary org, but they may be guests of other orgs.

(1) What are the differences in behavior?

It seems like guest members of an org can’t discover other guest members. Are there any other differences?

(2) If a user has org admin role on an org that they are a guest member of, would they still be able to create projects, etc. the same way as primary members of that org?

(3) If a user does not have org admin role on an org, and they’re just guest members, would they still be able to create projects/other resources?

hey,

regarding differences in guest/non-guest membership of organizations (1), i don’t think i can give a perfect answer and will ask someone else to answer this for you.

for (2) and (3), if a user is a member (guest or non-guest) of an organization whose marking is applied to a space, then permissions to create projects in a space are determined entirely by roles on the space. in particular, the ‘editor’ role shown in the space management UI in control panel should be sufficient for this.

here are some docs on spaces: https://www.palantir.com/docs/foundry/platform-security-management/manage-orgs-and-spaces/#spaces

let me know if that isn’t clear.
