I’m trying to confirm Palantir’s current guidance on whether Python should be pinned in meta.yaml for Code Repositories. I previously saw advice about unpinning packages when debugging dependency conflicts, but I can’t find a clear documentation statement about Python itself. Is the recommended practice to pin Python to a minor version like python 3.10.* in both build and run, or to leave Python unpinned unless needed?
