The documentation at https://www.palantir.com/docs/foundry/retention/branch-deletion describes the mechanism by which dataset branches are deleted after their corresponding branch in a code repository is deleted.
I might suspect that a similar mechanism exists for dataset branches that correspond to “archived” branches in Pipeline Builder. Could you confirm whether that is the case? (Would be great to update this documentation if so!)
