Great feature. Just from a UI standpoint, might be nice if it included a syntax error checker rather than rely on the user to be perfect at LaTeX or copy/paste stuff perfectly. Maybe also an AIP hook where it automatically suggests a completion / syntax fix to a piece of LaTeX.

Thank you for your suggestion! I’ve implemented changes to enhance the visibility of syntax errors in the LaTeX widget. If there’s a configuration issue, it will now display “LaTeX error” along with a specific syntax error message in both a popover and the right configuration panel.
I’ve noted your AIP hook suggestion as a potential future enhancement. In the meantime, the improved syntax error checker should be rolling out in the next few days.
