I know the folding node option is now available, but I can’t find a way to fold nodes into one node on the main screen.

You can collapse the nodes by color groups (if that’s what you mean by fold).
Right click on the color grouping and select “Collapse”:

On the other hand, does Palantir have plans to update the fold-out feature to use set folders instead of collapse colors?
