How can I setup manual upgrades on a data connection agent?

For Data connection agents, is it possible to disable auto-upgrades and manage the upgrade process manually? If that is the case, what is the recommended procedure for disabling auto-upgrades on an agent? Are there any specific steps we need to follow?

I’d think if you remove all upgrade windows it would never auto-upgrade. You’d then have to force upgrade in the data connection app when you want it to upgrade.
