In Contour, when we insert a pivot table, user has the ability to switch to pivoted data, meaning downstream widgets will use the already aggregated information as input.
Can I achieve the same in Free Form Analysis widget in Workshop?
The Free-form Analysis widget in Workshop enables users to independently investigate object data with flexibility, within the framework of the Workshop application. It does include a Pivot Table card that allows you to display data aggregations from an object set in a table.
While the Free-form Analysis widget does have a pivot table, it is not currently possible to switch to pivoted data like in Contour.
To achieve this workflow you would have to click the “Open analysis in Quiver” button, where you could achieve this by selecting “Convert → Transform table from pivot table” in the next actions from a pivot table.
