I recently completed the Foundry Certification Exam for Data Engineers (Professional) on July 24, 2026. I successfully passed the exam, and received the confirmation email from Palantir.
However, I noticed that the certificate and badge issued to me are for the Associate Level, even though I registered for and completed the Professional Level certification exam.
Additionally, some of my colleagues took the same Professional certification exam on the same day, and they received the correct Professional badge and certificate. This makes me believe there may have been an issue with my certification being generated.
You probably saw it already, but they recently updated exams and certifications classification, with “Associate” level being more advanced than “Professional” and new level - “Specialist” coming live in September. I think the general recommendation for Professionals now is to retake most up-to-date exam, so you’re lucky you got the newest one already
