Is there a limit to the number of resources that can be edited to a Foundry Branch?

I am cleaning up our ontology and want to confirm if there are concerns with modifying a large number of object types and actions on a single branch.

Theoretically no! The UI is not paginated at the moment however and will only show 100 “resources”. This is fine since in almost every case all changes to a single ontology are considered a single “resource”.

The one thing to consider here is that even if the changes are simple, the more that you add → the more complex that the review process can be. Specifically finding the subset of users required to approve all changes across all resources.

Main takeaways are:

  1. There is no limit
  2. As you add more though, consider if you can do the work in smaller chunks because complexity can grow for the review and merge process as you go.
