can you please add a makers option when drawing line charts in WorkShop? I need to put markers to make them stand out, but there is no such option, so I draw a line chart in one layer and make an exact copy of the scatter chart and overlap them.
When drawing a pie chart, can you create an others option for the part that goes beyond the limit of a certain category? quiver supports this but workshop doesn’t, so I’m embedding it.
Hello! Both of these charts can be accomplished in the new Vega Chart widget.
I was able to create the below chart with two AIP prompts after setting up my “NBA Players” object set.
Make a line chart of average points per game over the number of seasons a player has played
Add markers on the line at each point
I was able to create the below chart with a single AIP prompt using the same input data.
Create a pie chart of all the countries NBA players play for, but only show the top 4 results, with everything else segmented under the label “Other”
In both of these examples you can use additional AIP prompts to continue modifying your chart. We recommend using this more flexible widget when you hit a limitation with the traditional XY Chart widget.
