I’m looking for some guidance on how to migrate or replicate a Foundry application from one environment to another.
I’m not a technical user—I work mostly on the functional/business side—so I’d really appreciate a clear explanation of the steps involved, and whether there are tools or best practices I should follow.
Here’s what I’ve done so far:
- I have enabled both DevOps and Marketplace in both environments.
- I was able to download an application from the source environment.
- But when I try to upload the app to the target environment, I get this error:
Failed to upload products (error: publicKeyNotRecognized)
At this point I’m not sure if I’ve missed a step, if there’s something wrong with the way the environments are configured, or if some technical setup is required that I’m unaware of.
Could anyone help me understand:
- What’s the correct way to move applications between environments?
- Are there prerequisites I need to check (e.g. permissions, compatibility, file structure)?
- Is this something I can handle myself via DevOps/Marketplace, or should I involve an admin/engineer?
