OE: Eliminating the Reporting Friction from Charts to Notepad

The Strength: Object Explorer (OE) is our primary engine for rapid data profiling and hypothesis validation and get insights.

Its value for ad-hoc business analysis is unmatched due to its speed and intuitive interface.

The Gap: There is currently a “workflow friction” when moving from insight to report while doing ad-hoc analysis. To get an OE visualization into a Notepad document, users are forced to do it in Quiver and then add charts to Notepad. This context-switching is inefficient and discourages real-time on the fly.

The Request: Enable a direct “Add to Notepad” feature for OE charts. This allows decision-makers to capture insights the moment they are discovered, bypassing the Quiver “friction” and maintaining the momentum of the analysis.

Thanks for the feedback. That’s a great suggestion and something we can look into. I’ll revert back here once we have some more clarity around when we might be able to add this feature.
