[Ontology] Inherited Properties

Hi, I have a few instances of properties from different objects that I would like to have by default in other objects, as they are so key. For example, I have 3 objects: Company, Building, User, each one with a Company Name, Building Name and User Name. Both Building and User have a Company Name property of their own that should always match the name in the Company object.

This would be an extension of Shared Properties to include the content of the object.
It technically already exists in Workshop’s Object Table widget, where you can add a property of a linked object, but this is not possible in most other widgets.

It would be great to have this to further increase data consistency across the Ontology

Hi @pedro , we are working out on a concept we call Derived Properties which covers for what you are looking for. Currently in Beta lifecycle, but docs are available and canaries are using them. We will continue investing in these for the foreseeable future and make them more expressive/powerful.

Feel free to reach out to your Palantir rep to learn more on how to get this enabled!
