PB - Generating notional data using foreign keys from a dataset

Hi, I’m trying to generate notional data using “Enter Data Manually” and I need to populate using foreign keys from actual datasets, not other manually entered ones. Is this possible in pipeline builder? Thank you!

Hello and thanks for you question!

Unfortunately, this is not currently supported in Pipeline Builder. You can only generate foreign keys from other manually entered tables.

As a workaround you can either:

  1. Use the List option to auto populate the column with specifiy values, and you can give the values weights depending on how often you want each of them to show up
  2. Make a manually entered table with the foreign keys (ie. copy and paste from original dataset to manually entered table)
