Permissions to Perform Ontology Actions from Workshop

Hi there,

I have built a workshop app and one of my colleagues is trying to use it. The workshop application includes widgets that perform ontology actions. He doesn’t seem have access to these widgets specifically. When use “check access” on the workshop app, I see that the issue is that he doesn’t satisfy the submission criteria for the ontology actions.

I have gone into the Ontology Manager and set his access level to “Ontology Editor” for the whole ontology, as well as for the specific action types, but when I look back at the “check access” tab I see the same results.

What permissions do I need to change to give him full access to the workshop app?

Hey @willstone,

This is controlled by Action Submission Criteria in Ontology Manager under Security and Submission Criteria section:

.

Does your colleague’s account satisfy the criteria defined for these actions?

Hi @willstone ,

Action Type’s submission criteria are a dedicate security (or consistency) feature which guards Action submission at runtime. They define who and under which condition can submit given action type. Can you check the submission criteria across the used action types and make sure your colleague passes them?
