Pivot Table - group by joined dataset instead of primary dataset

I am trying to add a pivot table in Workshop using two joined object sets.

The only fields available in Group by seems to only refer to the primary object set.

So, if you have a pivot table built with:

Dataset A (primary)

Dataset B (joined)

Is there any way, I can group by the joined dataset ? I would prefer to do this within Workshop instead of Contour / Quiver.

Any suggestions, would be much appreciated. :smiley:

Yes, you need to configure the desired properties from Object Type B via a derived property on Object Type A in your workshop module.

As derived properties they are accessible in (some) widgets like filters, charts and pivot tables.

Note: derived properties is still in beta. So functionalities are limited. In case you do not see the functionality it needs to be enabled for your enrollment.
