Preview a PDF to a specific page in Workshop

I have a Media Set containing technical maintenance manuals as PDFs. I’ve configured a semantic search workflow based on the Build with AIP semantic search template. In my workshop frontend, I’d like to use the Media Preview widget to show the user the specific page that semantic search matched on (Document Chunk).

I have an Object-set in workshop with properties for the MediaSet rid and the page number. Can I preview the PDF to that specific page?

To solve this, you should instead use the PDF Viewer widget. The Media Preview widget is designed for any valid media type in a MediaSet (jpegs, etc), so it’s configuration is more general. PDF Viewer is specific to PDF type MediaSets, so it provides more PDF specific functionality.

In this case, use your page number property in the “Page Number” dropdown.
