Replace Backing Dataset of Object Created In Pipeline Builder

Hi - how do I replace the backing dataset for an object that was initially created via PB but then deleted from the PB pipeline? The “Replace Dataset” button in OMA is greyed out for this object, and the object output itself is no longer contained within the original pipeline. Can one disown the pipeline on the object / replace the backing dataset? Thanks!

you can bring it back by creating a new object, giving it the same ID as the object, and then disowning it. out of curiosity, why do you need to disown here?
