[SAP-Connector] Request for Static IP or Fixed Range for SAP Data Connection

Hello Everyone~

I am currently testing the Palantir AIP Trial environment and have installed the SAP Connector to establish a data connection to our SAP system.
However, I am encountering a network issue related to the source IP address.

Our SAP firewall requires a static source IP to whitelist inbound connections.
But the AIP Trial environment appears to use DHCP-based dynamic IPs, which prevents us from registering the connector’s IP on the SAP side. As a result, the data connection cannot be established.

Could you please confirm the following?

  1. Does the AIP Trial environment support assigning a static public IP for outbound traffic from the SAP Connector?

  2. If not supported, is there any recommended workaround or configuration to enable SAP integration from the Trial tier?

  3. Would upgrading to another tier (e.g., Foundry Enterprise / AIP Enterprise) be required to obtain a static IP for SAP connectivity?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Hi @62c3f589ddc09cad529d !

You can find the list of static IPs for outbound traffic from your environment in Control Panel in the Network Egress settings section, under What IPs do connections from Foundry come from?

These same values are available when you set up a data connection source, at the “Connection Settings” step, under the same What IPs do connections from Foundry come from? section name

Hope that helps,

Barthélémy
