There are plenty of grand new things that could be implemented in Foundry to make it better but I think that polishing some of the current functionalities would also be great and it might have been overlooked.
Specifically customization, we give up on it to gain development speed. I get it. But there are a few things that I believe could be low effort and high impact. Focused on Workshop.
- Font size customization for: Section titles, Object tables, Object lists, Charts XY… When presenting to C-level boards you notice that age took a toll on their vision.
- Copy/paste functionality for color formatting and numeric formatting (as in the ontology). Also, enabling preferred color palette for each Foundry instance would be awesome.
- Customization of time series visualization in Chart XY as the rest of the options.
- Section background color customization.
- Aggregations between multiple time series of the same object set. Time range filter with timestamp variables.
