Using a transactionless media set with 24-hour retention, we tested a generated synthetic PDF containing no customer data.
The PDF passed a Python Functions Media readback check. We then deleted it through the media-set UI. Foundry confirmed deletion and the normal listing became empty, but a subsequent direct-reference retrieval still rendered the PDF.
What is the supported approach to:
- Revoke direct content access after deletion?
- Verify revocation programmatically?
- Establish when permanent erasure occurs?
Does the 24-hour retention period run from upload, deletion, or another event, and how does it apply to deleted versions and derived renders?
We have verified listing removal, but have not established permanent erasure. We can provide resource identifiers through an appropriate private support channel if needed.
