Spark 4 support in Transforms

Hi team,

Is there any rough estimate when Spark 4 is expected to hit transforms? Will there remain a way to create Spark 3 repositories after that happens?

Is there any rough estimate when Spark 4 is expected to hit transforms?

We will delay release to allow for patches to find their way in and since it is a major release we will take our time to make sure we roll-out safety. Concretely, you can expect it to be hitting repos in Q1 2026.

Will there remain a way to create Spark 3 repositories after that happens?

There will not be. On release of Spark 4 within Foundry, all new repositories will use it. We will do the due diligence to ensure it is stable and well tested by the time we get to this point.
