Tampa General Hospital (TGH) has been working with Palantir to improve healthcare quality and efficiency through advanced analytics. Despite high national health spending, the U.S. has struggled with stagnant quality in healthcare. TGH’s collaboration with Palantir has led to significant achievements, such as enhanced situational awareness via dashboards, improved care pathways management, optimized injection and infusion coding, better PACU bed placement, and more efficient clinical and EVS staffing. These accomplishments have resulted in substantial financial savings and improved patient outcomes. In the long term, TGH and Palantir will continue their partnership, focusing on accelerating solution delivery, developing a new care delivery platform, rapidly iterating AIP solutions, expanding use cases with a high financial ROI, fostering deep cooperation between teams, and enabling access to key solution improvements. Additionally, TGH and Palantir are partnering on an innovation center in the Tampa Medical and Research District, further emphasizing their commitment to enhancing healthcare quality and efficiency.
