Too Many Link Types In Ontology

We are building a production ontology on Palantir Foundry Developer Tier.

Current state:

  • 28 Object Types
  • 28 backing datasets
  • 48 explicitly created one-to-many link types

When creating additional parent-child relationships we receive:

OntologyMetadata:TooManyOneToManyLinkTypesInOntology

Questions:

  1. Is there a configurable quota for one-to-many link types per ontology?
  2. Is this limit specific to Developer Tier?
  3. How can we inspect the current counted link types?
  4. Can this limit be increased?

Our final ontology is expected to contain approximately:

  • 50 Object Types
  • ~225 parent-child relationships

We would appreciate clarification on whether this is an expected platform limitation or a configurable quota.

Thank you.

This is a limit specific to the free (developer) tier. There are overall limits on number of object types, links and users if I remember correctly.

If you haven’t already, you can delete the AIP now example package from marketplace which is installed by default (these OTs/links count towards your quota).
