I use the new workflow builder now all the time to test my customers access in seeing data. I love the new feature as it really helps me see the problem areas before they are found by the user.
One item I would love to see additionally is an update to the right hand side of the workflow builder, the application preview. If you can update that to see what the selected “View As” person can see that would be amazing.

If I could go into the application preview as her, it would save me a bunch of time validating each ontology object permission and I could test my application as the end user.
Glad to hear Workflow Builder has been helping you with data access! While we don’t support viewing the entire application as another user right now, does using both the Ontology permissions and Resource permissions color legends help in this case? Was the problem above because the user didn’t have resource access to the backing dataset?
It for sure helps solve some issues, but I am still having issues with users not having either access to view items or the functionality working differently for them. For example, I have a user that has access to all backing ontology objects, but when I have her try to view it in the workshop she gets an error like this:
I can’t figure it out with those two tools so far and I only find out about the issue when the customer comes complaining that something is broken. Because she has full access and I can see that when I’m developing, I have no way of knowing if/why she is getting an error.
