I am trying to install extensions in the VS Code environment provided by Palantir, but due to security restrictions, all extension installations are blocked. Is there any way to install additional extensions in this restricted environment?

If you’re having difficulties installing extensions I would recommend running your code. locally with the Palantir extension. This way you can install all of the extensions you would like and still build/debug as if you were on the Foundry platform.
Due to the security issue in our company, we are unable to use AI supported IDE such as Cursor or Widsurf….
By the way, does it really feasible to develop locally?
I am usually facing confliction when I tried to develop in Palantir even it works locally.
