Why Can I Only Add Up to 5 Users in Palantir Foundry?

Hi everyone,

I’m currently working in a Palantir Foundry environment and I’ve run into a limitation — I can only add up to 5 users. After the 5th user, the platform won’t let me add any more.

I’m trying to understand:

  • Is this limit due to the type of environment (trial, sandbox, or evaluation)?
  • Is it related to licensing or role-based restrictions?
  • Is there any way to request an increase for training or team collaboration purposes?

If anyone has run into this before or knows the best way to handle this, I’d really appreciate your input.

Thanks for posting.

It sounds like you’re using our (free) Developer Tier, which has a limit on the number of users. You can view current limits in Control Panel under Your Plan. From the same page you can also request to speak to someone about upgrading, which would remove these limits.
