I have a ‘create’ action to create new objects. I want to use the table layout for the inline action widget in my workshop for this. However, this option is disabled for this action type without any further details on what about my action type makes this option incompatible. According to the docs, this should be support for ‘create’ actions.
Note that this was previously available but after making a few changes to my action through the Ontology Manager (added logs, made some fields not required, made some fields multiple-choice, etc.), this is now disabled.
Hi – it’s likely that one or more of the recent changes made to the action type aren’t supported by the table layout.
The details aren’t exposed in the Workshop App but if you go to the action type in the Ontology Manager, navigate to the “Form” section, and toggle the right-hand panel to show the table preview, it will have details on which configurations aren’t supported. Pressing the “Details” button will show a list of what isn’t currently supported.
